About Us

Cripto Conserje will drive adoption of bitcoin payments for merchants in LATAM through POS tools, training, and customer support. Cripto Conserje goal is to help Cúcuta, Colombia becomes the first city in the world to reach 50% Bitcoin adoption, meaning that 50% or more of the local merchants have a Bitcoin-enabled POS (point of sale) system. We are developing a framework for Bitcoin merchant adoption entering different cities in LATAM.

Goal Statement: We believe Bitcoin can provide economic stability to LATAM, particularly in places such as Venezuela where communities suffer from severe food shortages and medicine. However, our ideal goal extends to achieving 50% Bitcoin adoption in a major city like Dallas, Texas.

Initial Scope: Cripto Conserje will launch a three-pronged approach to increase Bitcoin adoption in Cúcuta.

  1. Develop online tests for Bitcoin knowledge and record merchant and user experience.
  2. Onboard 100 local merchants to begin accepting bitcoin as payments. We will do this with training and POS tools.
  3. Set up 300K Bitcoin wallets for people living in Cúcuta

Key Partners: Cripto Conserje has key partners working on the initial Alpha Project. Their support is critical to launching a three-pronged approach to increase Bitcoin adoption in Cúcuta. We have local partners who can develop and improve products based on feedback from the users (both merchants and customers). We will purchase and ship all the equipment to Colombia and begin a pilot program with 100 merchants before scaling to larger audiences.  To learn more about our partners, visit our Key Partners page.
